An introduction to the Serraform Streaming service

Overview

Serraform Streaming is a simple self-service pay-as-you-go streaming platform built for Decentraland and other metaverse platforms. It's built on decentralized web3 technologies including Ethereum, Polygon (PoS), and Livepeer. It allows users to create different streams without the need for signing up or providing payment information - pay with crypto and login using Metamask, with no monthly limits!

Serraform Streaming offers three different stream types:

1. Video on Demand (VOD) - Have a pre-recorded video you want to stream? Simply upload it for free and start streaming it on demand however many times you need.

2. Live - Want to do a live stream using OBS or another RTMP tool? Just create a live stream and we will provide you with our RTMP server details to use for low-latency jitter-free streaming!

3. Stream Relay - Want to stream a YouTube or Twitch stream into Decentraland? Just paste the URL from your favorite video or live Twitch stream and let us bring that into a format that works for Decentraland.
